Vera created the idea after reflecting on a familiar horror story many of us share — investing time in someone who was already in a relationship or began one while with us. This app was built to change that by notifying you the moment it happens.

VERAFIED is a unique app designed to allow EVERYONE to have their personal connection on lock. Whether it's talking, non-exclusively dating, exclusively dating, in a relationship, situationship, entanglement, engaged, or married.

Registering your partner isn’t a red flag — but them having an issue with it might be.

Too many people are getting cheated on without ever realizing it — don’t become the next statistic.

No two people can have the same person VERAFIED:

1. Set up your personalized profile.

2. Search Your Connection

NO MATCH FOUND: Add the info you’ve searched to your account — be it a phone number, email, social media username or photo.

MATCH FOUND: If the info you’ve searched is already VERAFIED by someone else, you will be provided the option to contact them.

Yes! To aid in the complex world of dating we have allowed users to have more than one connection only if you are talking/dating. This is established so you may connect with others that share your connection.

Only ONE VERAFIED connection is allowed on your account if you are exclusively dating, in a relationship, situationship, entanglement, engaged or married.

Sit back and enjoy the peace of mind knowing your partner has been VERAFIED by you.

If anyone else tries to VERAFY them, they’ll see that your connection already exists — and you’ll instantly receive a notification of their search.

1. Click the user’s profile picture to open their profile page.

2. Select the three dots (…) icon to view more options.

3. Scroll down to locate the user’s Profile Link.

4. Copy the portion of the link that appears after “https://facebook.com/”

Connection is initiated only if another user matches info that you’ve VERAFIED and one of you have elected to message the other.

If you elected to contact another user through the app:

You can choose a suggested opening message like, “I think we may have a similar connection. May I share my experience with you to confirm?” or write your own.

Be respectful and follow our Guidelines. It’ll make it easier to find a solution together.

Your safety comes first on VERAFIED. If something happens that makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, please report it.

To report a user from the Conversations menu, please follow these steps:

From your conversation, tap on the Red Flag in the top right-hand corner. From here, tap “Block and Report”.

Be sure to specify the reason for the report and submit it.
